Frequently Asked Questions
About the Loom Services
Who is eligible for Loom’s services?
Services are available to eligible Medicaid Managed Care members who meet specific social or medical criteria, such as food insecurity, pregnancy, or chronic health conditions.
Is there really no cost?
Correct. For eligible members, Loom’s services are 100% covered through the Social Care Network. There are no delivery fees or hidden charges.
What kind of meals do you provide?
We provide fresh, never-frozen, chef-prepared meals. Our menus are dietitian-approved and tailored to medical needs, including heart-healthy options like salmon and chicken, as well as vegetarian choices.
Can my family receive meals too?
Yes. If the head of household qualifies, we often extend meal support to other members of the family to ensure the entire household is supported during your recovery.
How long does the support last?
Most members are approved for up to 6 months of service, with extensions available for maternal care (up to 12 months) or based on medical necessity.
How do I apply?
You can apply directly on our website at LoomSupport.org. The process takes about 5 minutes, and our team will handle the verification with your health plan.
